Two hours back, every day.

App blocking with a guard that does not negotiate. iPhone and Android.

The block screen

The block screen is the whole product.

A nudge asks you to be strong at the exact moment you are not. Fifteen more minutes, ignore limit, remind me tomorrow — every soft blocker gives you a button that makes the discomfort stop, and the discomfort is the only thing that was working.

Fokyo puts the fox in the doorway instead. It repeats what you decided, when you were calm, and it does not move. There is a way through — we are honest about that — but it is never one tap, and it resets your streak.

How blocks are enforced →

Three principles

Built to hold, not to remind.

A guard, not a timer

Timers announce that you are out of time and then step aside. The fox holds the door shut. No snooze that quietly becomes the habit, no “ignore limit” button sitting under your thumb.

Hard Mode

On iPhone, Fokyo sets your Screen Time passcode and keeps it. Getting out takes a 24-hour cooling-off period that nobody can shorten. Tonight-you does not get a vote.

On-device

Screen Time data stays on your phone. Fokyo keeps your goals and your streak — not what you looked at, typed, or searched for.

Hard Mode

No way out. On purpose.

While Hard Mode runs, goals cannot be deleted, weakened or paused. Fokyo cannot be uninstalled out of it. Screen Time settings are locked behind a passcode that Fokyo holds and you have never seen.

Release takes 24 hours from the moment you ask. That is the whole design: the version of you who wants out at 23:40 has to get past the version of you who set it up at 10 a.m.
